Introducing our advisers

Our advisers are based across the UK, meaning that you can choose to receive advice from one that is local to your area. With an understanding of the equity release processes and the homes near to you, they will ensure that everything runs smoothly.

What does your adviser do for you?

Assess your options

Your adviser will help you to evaluate your personal circumstances, considering both your income and your expenditure. They will get to know you and your personal goals, using the information to make a proposal on what the best choice for you is. They will cover the features and risks, including that equity release will reduce the value of your estate and possibly affect your entitlement to means-tested benefits.

Assist with an application

If the recommendation is to release equity, and you’re happy to proceed, your adviser will handle the paperwork and process the application for you. They will keep in touch with the lender and make sure that things move along as they should.

Offer lifetime care

At Responsible Life, we’re committed to supporting you beyond your equity release. Your adviser will check in with you after one month and again at twelve months after completion, to ensure everything is running smoothly. Where appropriate, they may also review whether you could benefit from a lower rate, should one become available.

Don’t take our word for it

Our advisers have plenty of glowing reviews about the service that they provide.
